Misd for Business vs Google Business Profile

Checked against Google Business Profile's public pages on 2026-09-18.

Keep your Google Business Profile. It is free, it is where people find your hours and your reviews, and its performance view tells you how many people searched for you, saw your listing, called or asked for directions. Every business with a door should have it and keep it current.

What it can't tell you is who was around you and didn't search. The crowd on your block on a Friday night, where they came from, what they're into, whether next week's event will fill your room or empty it. That is where Misd for Business starts: a weekly briefing about the crowd around your address, with an action for every finding. From $699 a month, first card free.

What Google Business Profile does that we don't

  • Being found: hours, photos, menu, booking links, and the reviews people actually read.
  • Direct signals from searchers — calls, direction requests, website clicks.
  • Free, and integrated with Search and Maps in a way nothing else is.

Google shows you the people who were looking for you. Misd shows you the people who were already there. Start with a free card and read both on Monday.

The three questions owners ask us

Is any of this tracking my customers?

No. Briefings measure the shape and type of crowds — how many, from where, from when, what they're interested in. A group too small to be a crowd never appears, and nothing in a card can identify a person. Data policy and regulation sit with us, not with you.

Is my area even covered?

Your first card tells you. It's free and it's built on the crowd around your address, so if there isn't enough signal yet you'll see that before you pay anything. Cards get stronger as the Misd network grows around you, with no extra fee.

How accurate is it?

Each card says how it knows: Researched, Benchmarked or Measured (counted on the Misd network, not modeled). When something can't be measured the card says so instead of filling the gap with a guess, and a view too thin to report responsibly is widened, never invented. A published card doesn't quietly change; if something is revised, the next Sunday says so.
