Misd for Business vs Marketlyzer
Checked against Marketlyzer's public pages on 2026-09-18.
Marketlyzer is a location-intelligence dashboard for three jobs: scoring a site before you sign a lease, tracking a chain's branches and reviews, and mapping every business in a territory for sales. Eight analyses run on an address and come back as a report across nine tabs, with a built-in AI assistant to ask questions of. It is on-demand: you open it when you have a question.
Misd for Business is the other half of the week. It doesn't ask you to open anything. Every Sunday a briefing lands about the crowd around the place you already run: who showed up, from where, what's coming, what to do about it. From $699 a month, first card free.
Side by side
| The question | Misd for Business | Marketlyzer |
|---|---|---|
| What does it cost? | Published: Pro $699/mo, Elite $1,600/mo. First card free, 7-day guarantee. | Their pricing page did not state plan prices in plain text when we read it; check their site for current plans. |
| When do I use it? | Every Sunday, automatically. The briefing comes to you. | On demand: run an analysis on an address when you're deciding something. |
| What question does it answer best? | What changed around my business this week, and what should I do? | Should I open here? What is this chain doing? Who is in my territory? |
| How is it presented? | Cards. One answer and one action each. | An interactive map and dashboard: nine tabs, toggleable layers, an AI assistant. |
| Where does the data come from? | The Misd social network first, plus public signals. We own our signals. | Foot traffic, demographics, climate, building and satellite layers, per their product page. |
| Do I need to be a data person? | No. | It is designed for exploring; the AI assistant helps you interrogate the report. |
What Marketlyzer does that we don't
- Site scoring before a lease — eight parallel analyses on any address.
- Chain tracking: every branch, its reviews, the campaigns it runs.
- Territory intelligence with contact details and CSV / CRM export for sales teams.
- An AI assistant that has read the whole report and can compare two addresses.
Choosing a location is a decision you make a few times. Running one is a decision you make every week. Marketlyzer is built for the first; Misd for Business is built for the second.
The three questions owners ask us
Is any of this tracking my customers?
No. Briefings measure the shape and type of crowds — how many, from where, from when, what they're interested in. A group too small to be a crowd never appears, and nothing in a card can identify a person. Data policy and regulation sit with us, not with you.
Is my area even covered?
Your first card tells you. It's free and it's built on the crowd around your address, so if there isn't enough signal yet you'll see that before you pay anything. Cards get stronger as the Misd network grows around you, with no extra fee.
How accurate is it?
Each card says how it knows: Researched, Benchmarked or Measured (counted on the Misd network, not modeled). When something can't be measured the card says so instead of filling the gap with a guess, and a view too thin to report responsibly is widened, never invented. A published card doesn't quietly change; if something is revised, the next Sunday says so.
